Accelerating Innovation

with a Transformative Twist

ScadaFest 2025 has officially wrapped, and what an electrifying ride it was! Held at the picturesque Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, this year’s event lived up to its theme—“Accelerate”—by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in SCADA technology, collaboration, and celebration.

From the moment attendees arrived, the energy was palpable. With record-breaking attendance and a 12% growth over last year, the VTScada community gathered to explore the latest advancements in automation, cybersecurity, and mission-critical infrastructure. Trihedral President Glenn Wadden’s keynote set the tone, emphasizing the importance of building, operating, and maintaining SCADA systems that are not only powerful but also intuitive and future-ready.

The “Accelerate” theme wasn’t just about speed—it was about momentum. Sessions focused on streamlining development, enhancing operational resilience, and simplifying long-term maintenance. With a 35% increase in R&D staff and a 35% jump in VTScada sales in 2024, the numbers spoke for themselves.

But ScadaFest 2025 wasn’t all business.

In a spectacular nod to the venue’s Universal Studios backdrop, attendees were treated to a Transformers-themed entertainment experience. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee made surprise appearances, thrilling guests with live-action performances and photo ops that brought out the inner child in everyone. It was a perfect blend of high-tech inspiration and blockbuster fun.

As always, the event fostered deep connections—between users and developers, between ideas and execution, and between innovation and impact. Whether it was in the Developers’ Den, during hands-on workshops, or over dinner at the Welcome Reception, ScadaFest 2025 proved once again that the VTScada community is as dynamic as the software it champions.

🚀 Until next year, keep accelerating.
