Where Ideas Turn Into Innovation
ScadaFest 2024 roared back to life in sunny Orlando, Florida, bringing together a vibrant global community of automation professionals, developers, and VTScada users. Hosted by Trihedral, a Delta Group company, the five and two-day event was packed with training courses, expert-led seminars, hands-on workshops, and cutting-edge insights into the future of SCADA technology.
The conference kicked off with a keynote from Trihedral President Glenn Wadden, who unveiled exciting new VTScada features and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to innovation and user empowerment. Attendees explored over 30 sessions covering topics like cybersecurity, AI-driven flood prevention, and streamlined data collection.
One of the standout moments was the Developers’ Den, where participants engaged directly with the minds behind VTScada, gaining personalized insights and solutions. The event also featured record-breaking attendance at pre-conference training sessions, with professionals diving deep into VTScada configuration and scripting.
Beyond the tech, ScadaFest fostered meaningful connections through catered socials and a memorable Welcome Reception. The evening featured speed painter Dale Henry, whose live art was auctioned to support Water For People, a nonprofit dedicated to global access to clean drinking water.
ScadaFest 2024 truly lived up to its mission: to empower, connect, and celebrate the VTScada community. The excitement continues as plans are already underway for ScadaFest 2025, returning to the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando next March.
