Glenn founded Trihedral in 1986 with a vision to create software to simplify the creation of human machine interfaces and still holds the role of Chief Software Architect for VTScada. A life-long Nova Scotian, he earned degrees in Engineering Physics at Dalhousie University, and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota.

Barry’s passion began with Trihedral in 1993, after graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree from Dalhousie University and working worldwide with Michelin Tires. Starting as a member of Trihedral’s engineering group developing application code and communications drivers, his responsibilities grew to managing large customer projects and contracts. In 2001 he became a Vice President and is the President of Trihedral’s US operations.

Devraj started out at Trihedral as a co-op student. After graduating from Dalhousie University at the top of his class with the University Medal in Computing Science, he joined Trihedral as a Software Developer. Since 2003, he has been involved with developing key features such as the Historical Data Viewer and the Historian. His role as Chief Technology Officer encompasses overseeing the R&D and Engineering team as well as serving as the liaison between these teams and the rest of the company.

Keith began his career overseeing telemetry and communication assets for Mobil North Sea Limited. At Kvaerner FSSL (now Aker Solutions), Keith progressed to Senior Software Engineer supporting monitoring and control systems for subsea oil and gas production (written using WEB – an early version of VTScada). As Director of Business Development, Keith supports Trihedral’s European customers and OEMs, writes drivers (AB, CIP, IEC 60870-5-104), presents training courses, and attends trade shows.

Lawrence has been part of the Trihedral team since 1989. In that time, he’s developed VTScada- based solutions for a wide variety of industries including power generation, food and beverage, oil and gas, and municipal water and wastewater. He manages the engineering team across all offices and serves as the engineering architect for large industrial projects and solutions.

Since 2000, Luc has been using VTScada to create advanced, highly-specialized, industrial applications for the oil and gas, energy, and many other sectors. In 2015, Luc relocated to Calgary, Alberta, to become the Regional Engineering Manager in the new Calgary office where he supports Trihedral’s large partner network of SIs, OEMs, and End Users.

Steve joined Trihedral in 1998 from Kvaerner FSSL, when Trihedral UK was established, bringing 18 years of software development experience with him, largely with SCADA systems. Steve has been a major contributor to the VTScada RPCManager, Source Debugger and VTScada Internet Client, among others. More recently he has been leading the procedural and workflow changes for compliance with IEC 62443-4-1. He is also a keen highly-ranked bridge player in the UK.

Samer worked as a member of the VTScada R&D team in the period 2008-2010 and rejoined in 2018. Samer’s work on VTScada includes SNMP, MQTT/SparkPlugB, and MultiSpeak.

As part of the VTScada R&D team, since 2001, Ryan has helped to design some of the core components of VTScada such as the Idea Studio, the Alarm Manager, the Display Manager, the Historical Data Viewer, Operator Notes, and Slippy Maps.

Paul graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and started at Trihedral in 2011. His expertise involves designing, building and supporting hosted systems using VTScada in energy and water/wastewater applications, and has conducted training courses to large OEMs. He continually develops and supports these OEMs to add custom communications drivers and special device tag structures and graphics.

Joseph has been with Trihedral since 2007, he is one of our R&D programmers and has been involved in many large features such as the DriverMUX, the MultiWrite Tag, and the Ribbon-based Idea Studio to name a few. He is an amateur archer and has been involved in fencing for over 30 years, including one Bronze-medal trip to the Canada games. When he’s not shooting or stabbing things you can find Joseph on the softball field, tinkering with Arduino projects, playing the guitar (poorly), or just spending time with his family.

Victor graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Before joining Trihedral in 2007, Victor worked for a chemical company in St. Louis (The P. D. George Co.) implementing and managing the instrumentation and controls for several large chemical reactors. He also worked for American Computer Technologies, a systems integrator in Maitland, Florida, where he first encountered VTScada.

Doug started with Trihedral in 2005 doing support – assisting customers with VTScada and the various interfaces from PLC’s to networks and modems. As his most recent hobby, he has become interested in tropical fish, both marine and freshwater. He is presently using VTScada to monitor the parameters of two of his larger saltwater

Greg has a background designing hardware and software in the telecommunications industry. He holds several patents related to data communications and has been a representative to ANSI and CSA committees for developing communications standards. Greg has an engineering degree from the University of Waterloo. He has been with Trihedral since 2008 and has been coding for 45 years. Greg’s focus at Trihedral is primarily on our Alarm Notification system.

Andrew’s background includes engineering, programming, database administration, and extensive experience developing and teaching technical courses. Outside of work, he enjoys time in his woodworking workshop, managing his woodlot, and learning to play the Celtic harp.

Peter has worked as part of the VTScada R&D team since 2013. Peter’s work on VTScada includes the Excel Add-in, JSON/XML Driver, OpenID Connect, the REST Interface, engine internals, and several upcoming features including VoIP and camera support.

Graham has been a member of the VTScada R&D team since the Aberdeen, Scotland, office opened in 1998. He previously worked on control systems in the oil and gas industry and in the Royal Air Force as a simulator technician. Graham’s work on VTScada includes alarms, security, drivers, graphics, historian, and engine internals. Graham is also responsible for such internal systems as source code control, bug tracking, network administration, and security. Graham is a Wireshark Core Developer and presents at the SharkFest User and Developer Conferences.

Andrew joined Trihedral in 2006. His areas of expertise include the script execution engine, tag and type management, configuration management and the repository, master applications, and the Anywhere Client. Andrew graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Master’s in Computer Science (computational biology).

Dave Morse is VP and GM of Industrial Automation Regional Business Unit at Delta Electronics (Americas). His career at the company spans nearly 26 years, having first joined Delta in 1997. Morse has held several roles for the Power Supply and Industrial Automation Business Groups, including product manager, sales manager and director of sales and operations. Morse is based out of Delta’s office in Raleigh, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Mr. Ubert is an Automation specialist with 30+ years of experience in process control and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) in the water and wastewater, pulp and paper, food processing and Department of Defense industries. His experience includes designing and implementing safe and secure control/communication systems using fiber optics, licensed/unlicensed radio, cellular, satellite, and phone line – as well as programming multiple PLC and HMI platforms. Mr. Ubert recently acquired a patent for leveraging artificial intelligence to improve energy efficiency in pumping systems. He is a Senior Automation Professional at Electrical Design Associates (EDA) and President of ISA Tampa Section.

Ian’s focus is on making cyber physical systems efficient at scale. By training, Ian is an Industrial Engineer. By profession, Ian is the President of Dispel, the Vice President of the National Defense Industry Association’s New York-Connecticut Chapter, and a Principal Investigator for Dispel on three projects at the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.

Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Alan brings an extensive background in the monitoring and control industry with 30 years of experience with companies such as Revere Control Systems, Bristol Babcock, Control Microsystems and various key positions within Schneider Electric. Over the years, including his time in college pursuing degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, Alan has received numerous awards for his presentations and white papers.

Chris has been with Trihedral since 2007. In addition to serving VTScada customers in Ontario and Quebec, he serves as Trihedral’s communications expert producing a variety of marketing resources including webinars, articles, press releases, and brochures. His articles have been featured in numerous print and online water/wastewater publications.

Natashia has been with Trihedral since 2010 and is based out of the Bedford HQ. She dreams of one-day competing in an amateur BBQ competition. Besides Christmas, she loves Madonna, big earrings, and changing her hair colour. One of Natashia’s many accomplishments is conceptualizing, organizing, and executing ScadaFest, our annual SCADA User’s conference!

Bryan is a native of Florida, a graduate of the University of Florida, and has been a member of the Trihedral team since 2007. In his current role of Technical Sales, his territory includes Florida and South Georgia. Bryan was previously employed by the City of Ocala, Florida, for 13 years; the last 7 of those years as the SCADA Administrator for the Water and Sewer Department. Bryan has over 20 years of automation and controls experience and has been involved in the water/wastewater industry for 25 years. Bryan is very active supporting many associations in Florida, including: FSAWWA Sections, FRWA, FWEA, FWPCOA Regions, ISA Tampa and ISA WWID. Bryan was recently recognized by the ISA, receiving the Outstanding Service Award, and by the FWPCOA, receiving the Pat Flanagan award. Bryan was also a proud member of the military, having served 9 years.

Dave received his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 and began his career designing electromechanical transmission and communication components for military and renewable energy applications. In 2016, Dave transitioned into the automation industry at Trihedral headquarters in Bedford, Nova Scotia, and supports Atlantic Canada customers through his LiveChat and forum developments.

Tim brings 25 years of industrial automation experience to the Trihedral team and is a native of New England. He has held account manager positions for major software vendors who develop SCADA, HMI and manufacturing intelligence software solutions. Tim enjoys working with system integrators, OEMs and end users to find the best solution in any application.

Mike is a knowledgeable and experienced SCADA professional with a long history in one of the largest regional markets in the American water industry. He joins us with extensive experience promoting successful VTScada applications including his work with Rawdon Myers. With over 30 years’ experience in process technical sales, Mike is excited to bring his last 15 years’ experience promoting VTScada to customers in the Mid Atlantic.

Andrew Green has been working in the water and wastewater industries since 2016 as both a manufacturer and a contractor. He is currently serving as Technical Sales in the southeast for VTScada by Trihedral and his prior experience includes industrial manufacturing, system integration, distribution systems, and smart city initiatives. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife and two adopted children.

Blair has been with Trihedral since 2003, starting as a liaison between the engineering and marketing teams and eventually moving to Houston in 2016 to manage a growing client base in the US Southwest. He earned a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University. Blair’s experience includes 24 years in automation and SCADA across a wide variety of industries. Blair has received awards for public speaking, has appeared in engineering publications, and has served as a Director of the Consulting Engineers of Nova Scotia.

Dan is a mechanical engineer with years of experience selling industrial computers to monitoring and control customers in a variety of industries. Based in the Chicago office, Dan is responsible for VTScada sales across the Midwest United States and has been with Trihedral since 2018.
